1900 & 1910 Census - lived in Englewood, NJ 1900 Census: emigration 1885
I dont know if we connect. There were alot of Gieses coming across in the late 1800's and early 1900's. My William Frederick Giese came we believe southern Germany, near France. He was fluent in both French and German. Also he played the violin and organ. It is said that he was also a cabinet maker for the Kaiser in Germany but have no proof. He came over about 1885 and married a Meta Selma Petznick. That is all I know. David (DavidCarey84 on ancestry)
