Yes, the game would have turned out differently if OSU would have hit more outside shots… but the UF defense MAY have had something to do with it (my prior fears notwithstanding). Maybe this was OSU’s “A” game… and maybe, just maybe, UF brought it’s “A” game too.
OSU did get some open looks outside, with UF playing a lot of zone; but there weren’t a whole lot of open looks in the last five minutes or so (that I recall). Cory Brewer had his hands in more faces than I could count – simply a monster on defense, all over the court.
