Don’t get me wrong, I’m still the guy that has never voted for a Republican chief executive. Considering that meant voting against 41, 43, and a guy who referred to himself in the third person more often than a character on Friends; who could blame me? But let’s do a quick review. Mr Kerry comes from what could be the most “liberal” state this side of San Fran. I know, there’s not much out there on the other side of San Fran – besides a whole lot of water. I’ll be the first to admit an imperfect metaphor, but for the sake of time I’m sticking with it. National politics seem to be gravitating towards the center. That said, does this guy really have a chance? Polls seem to say so, so far anyway. So do I really like this guy? I haven’t decided. I will admit that he wasn’t my first choice, or my second choice for that matter. There is one thing I am sure of: my streak won’t be coming to an end this time around.
