John McCain and Sarah Palin criticized Democrat Barack Obama over the amount of money he has requested for his home state of Illinois, even though Alaska under Palin’s leadership has asked Washington for 10 times more money per citizen for pet projects.
This might sound a little strange or sarcastic, but it’s meant to be neither. I’m glad to hear someone else is disturbed. It’s possible/probable I’ve never paid this close attention before, but I can’t remember ever feeling this disturbed.
Hey, by the way… good luck on the election coming up for you all. The news that trickles down this far south says Harper’s party has an outside shot at an outright majority. Say it ain’t so!
It never fails to disturb me how much more perception matters than facts in the American electoral process. He’s a tax-and-spend liberal! They’re both pork-hating mavericks! Never mind how we arrived at those stock epithets!
