There aren’t much more than a handful of people from high school I’d be interested in catching up with, and I got an email from one of them this evening. It’s weird thinking I can say to someone “hey, it’s been what… twenty years?”

It was just about the last thing I expected, sitting back in a rare spare moment, tweaking my spam filter to catch a particularly persistent ad for Viagra. Ah, the joys of email…

I don’t have much time, but I wanted to share a picture I really liked from Conner’s birthday party yesterday (my nephew):

I took this picture right after I told another parent why I like digital photography: it’s easy to take 200 pictures and come up with two or three I like.
