• This is a record of my last will of the morning

There is no way to resurrect my enthusiasm or energy by the time I am ready to go home today. Therefore, I see no point in wishing I was anywhere other than where I am right now.

  • It’s not Miller time either

I’ve used this space to cover all sorts of behaviors I deem inappropriate for the throne room. Most recently I’ve voiced my disappointment with my lavatory cohorts over their cell phone use in the adjacent stall.

Today the phone rang next door… then stopped. There was a 30 second pause, followed by a strange sound. If a mouse could play the drums, and that drum playing mouse was playing on a mouse pad… what would it sound like? Answer- a man in a public restroom typing out a text message on his cell phone.

I guess thats progress… sort of.

  • A momentary change of course

Thursday, September 1, “I’d like to thank the director of FEMA, Mike Brown, for the great job he’s doing,” – W, President of the United States.

Today, September 9, “You are the weakest link. Goodbye!” – Michael Chertoff, Director of Homeland Security
